Available in a galaxy near you now, the FX Lightsabers (£99.95) are an official reproduction of real Lightsabers from Star Wars. The gorgeously crafted Force FX Lightsaber really is an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

Fully licensed by Lucasfilm, the limited edition Force FX is fashioned in gleaming metal with a durable polycarbonate blade, and it feels like what you’d imagine a real lightsaber would.

When activated, the blade glows brightly and the Force FX reverberates with digitally recorded sound effects taken directly from the film, including power-up, idle-hum, swing, clash and power-down. The spine-tingling sounds are activated via five super-sensitive motion sensors, three of which are in the blade to detect movement and impact. The eye-popping light effects are produced by a string of 64 super-bright LEDs that ignite sequentially inside the permanently attached blade. The Force FX even comes with a handsome stand for tabletop or wall display.

The Lighsaber measures approximately: 112.5cm (44.3″) L x 5.6cm (2.2″) H x 5.3cm (2.1″) W. Choose between Darth Vader’s red saber from Star Wars, and Luke Skywalker’s blue one from The Empire Strikes Back.
