Solar Roof Tiles

Published by Budda June 9th, 2005 in Home, Misc.

Sharp Solar Roof Tiles

Sharp Electronics have produced roof tiles (ND-60RU1) which hook-up together to provide a giant solar panel on your roof, without looking like a huge mess strapped to your house.

These solar roof tiles integrate into the roof in the same manner as common, flat concrete tiles, and can be easily replaced individually. They screw to the existing roof supports, so no additional framing materials or extra roof penetrations needed.
