Published by Budda August 5th, 2005 in Gadgets, Computing.

USB Mouse Pad

The mouse pad appears to have mostly died out since the optical breed of mice have become more and more popular. A new twist to the age old mouse pad comes in the shape of multimedia capabilities.

As reported over on the GadgetryBlog, this new breed of mouse pad features four integrated USB 2.0 ports in the side of the pad - so no more scrambling round under the desk to plug in your peripherals.

In addition to the built-in USB hub are the built-in headphone, line in and microphone output connectors. The pad also features a built in stereo speakers and microphone for chatting over the Internet, great for your Counter Strike games!
