Haier P7 Pen Phone

Published by GadgetSpy September 15th, 2005 in Gadgets, Communication, Mobile Phones.

haierpenphonep7

The Haier P7 Pen Phone is the first pen phone in the world to feature a 65 thousand colour TFT screen and innovate ’slide’ VGA camera.

Launched in North America in Summer 2005, the P7 Pen Phone hasn’t yet made its (official) European debut. The P7 is the HIGHLY anticipated predecessor to the groundbreaking Haier P5 & P6 models. It still retains its stunningly slender form, but that is where the similarities between older models end. The P7 is a totally new concept incorporating state of the art technologies such as GPRS, WAP2.0 and Digital Dictaphone. The P7 is also tri-band and can be used in virtually any country in the world where a GSM signal exists.

But this feature packed mobile phone is still simple to operate. The incorporation of a side mounted jog-dial and 4 way centre console with ‘joystick’ operation means that your numbers and photos are only a touch of a button away. The P7 also features a removable battery with longer call and standby times than that of the P5 & P6, and at an amazing 65 grams it is also lighter then both(!) the P5 & P6.

There is no doubt about it, the Haier P7 Pen Phone is the best in its class and unlike nearly every other phone in the market today will not date: You can bet that the ultra stylish handset wont fail to be a real conversation starter in years to come. Perhaps that’s why, the Haier P7 Pen Phone is owned by a plethora of celebrities including Will Ferrell, Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Robbins, Charlize Theron, Naomi Watts and Renee Zellweger.
