Published by Budda September 27th, 2005 in Gadgets, Visual, Portable Audio, Portable Video.

PQI mTrix

PQI have announced the availability of a budget portable video/audio/photo player, labelled the mTRIX.

The mTRIX is a very small Mpeg4/MP3/WMA player (68.38 x 68.01 x 25.7mm and weighing in at 110g) that has a 2″ (320×240) screen, 32Mb of memory and a SD/MMC port.

The light and stylish design makes it easy to take mTrix anywhere. The screen folds-up like a Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP.

It has a battery life of 4 hours when playing video and 6 hours in audio mode thanks to its 3.7V 1050mAh battery.

It connects through a USB 2.0 port to the PC for data transfer, but can also make use of SD/MMC/Intelligent Stickā„¢ storage devices.

As well as the video and audio playback, the device is capable of showing digital photos from its slideshow viewer. Great for viewing digital camera photos whilst away from your PC.

Further details can be found on the PQI website.
