Nintendo DS Lite

After previous rumours about a new Nintendo DS the details of the DS Lite have now appeared on the official Nintendo Japan website.

The Nintendo DS lite is both thinner and lighter than the previous version.

The Nintendo DS Lite features an updated set of backlit screens which give the user the option to choose between four different levels of brightness (both for viewing preference and to help battery life)

There is a new hinge design with the power light moved to the left side of the hinge where it is visible when the device is closed. The start and select buttons are on the bottom now instead of the top and the dark buttons have all been lightened up to gray and white.
