Nintendo DS UK
Published by Budda March 24th, 2006 in Gadgets, Consoles & Video Gaming, Handhelds.Nintendo have just made it easier for us UK DS owners to get on-line whilst out in public, as well as being able to download free content to your handheld.
607 Wi-Fi hotspots will be installed, along with 500 stations in GAME, Gamestation, HMV, Toys R US and Smyths Toys shops, along with a number of smaller retailers.
These will offer owners of the DS handheld free access to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service, as well as the chance to download playable demos of current and forthcoming DS titles.
The first available downloads are one-level demos of Meteos and Polarium, which will be followed in April and May by Pokemon Link, Trauma Centre: Under the Knife and Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? Other downloadable content will include movies and “special” items.
