Conduct an Opera with the Nintendo Wii
Published by Budda May 10th, 2006 in Gadgets, Entertainment, Consoles & Video Gaming. The new Nintendo Wii with its fancy TV remote controller has just found another use with the news of a certain web browser being built in to the forthcoming console.
Having already confirmed a deal to put their web browser software on Nintendo’s handheld DS earlier this year, Opera have now announched that they will be providing the web browser technology for the Wii when it launches later this year.
Given Opera’s long support of gesture interfaces in their browser, this is an excellent matchup for the Wii’s remote control capabilities.

I'm having a problem installing Opera 9.02 on FC5.
Every time I try to run it, it comes back with a “unable to find software information” error.
When I try to run it from the command line, I get 6 conflict errors.
I must add that I already have Opera 8.54 but I close it down before I try and run it.
