Waterproof your iPod

Published by Tony June 19th, 2006 in Gadgets, Portable Audio, iPod.

h20gal1H20 Audio has created a waterproof jacket for iPods.

For people who want to go swimming whilst listening to music, the waterproof case allows an iPod nano, Video , shuffle or iPod to go underwater up to 3 metres. An added feature is the ‘Commander’ scroll wheel which allows control of the iPod click wheel whilst underwater:

  • Waterproof housing for Apple iPod (video) (iPod not included)
  • Submersible up to 10ft/3m (when paired with H2O Audio Waterproof Headphones)
  • Commander™ Scroll Wheel allows function of the iPod Click Wheel in the water or while wearing a glove
  • LatchTight™ locking system
  • SealTight™ connector (compatible with standard 3.5mm headphone plugs)
  • Sport Armband included
  • This has the benefit over the likes of the ‘otterbox’ which stupidly had no waterproof headphones, prices rare $80 for the nano to $90 for the ipod video.
