The Drinkers Friend

Published by Budda July 4th, 2006 in Gadgets, Home, Misc, Reviews.

Beer Clip with Money

Whilst not strictly a gadget, this shiny piece of metal slips in to your pocket and does two simple jobs well.

It doesn’t look much, and isn’t, but the Beer Clip is made to hold your notes tightly together whilst in your pocket. This is probably more applicable to US readers who have more notes in their currency. In the UK you’re more likely to end up with a pocket of loose change after buying beers at the bar.

The other more handy feature of the Beer Clip is the built in bottle opener! Strange combination but you’ll never be without an opener for that emergency beer - and it’ll save your teeth too.

The bottle opener is nothing unique, but it works fine on a strong Belgium bottle of Duvel!

To make your Beer Clip a little more unique you can get it engraved with your initials (up to 3 letters) and select from a limited range of clip art.

The Beer Clip will make a great small gift for a friend or stocking filler for Christmas.

You can order a Beer Clip from www.beerclip.com for $14.95

After experimenting with this, I think there’s an issue - if you have much money in the clip, you can’t use the bottle opener without messing up your notes. Still, it’s quite neat and surprisingly small.
