iGrill : George Foreman USB

Published by Budda July 29th, 2006 in Gadgets, Computing, Home.

iGrill USB

The low-fat, high-bandwidth solution to your networked cooking needs is finally here. The George Foreman USB iGrill conveniently connects to your home or office PC using USB 2.0 technology, and provides a sophisticated web-based cooking interface.

As you can see it’s an official branded George Foreman grill, just like you can buy at your local electrical retailer.

Once your iGrill is hooked up you can control your cooking with downloadable recipes. Enter in the type of food you want to cook, the weight and desired degree of doneness, and the iGrill handles the rest.

It means you can prepare your dinner whilst laming on the Internet - avoiding char-grilled mess.

Because the iGrill has a web-based interface you can access it from anywhere with an Internet connection! That’s right, running late at work? Need to get dinner on the table? With a little advance planning, your meal can be ready when you get home!

Improvements over the traditional George Foreman Grill include a subtle glow from under the unit which increases in brightness and pulses faster until your meal is perfectly done.

Using the USB current to directly charge high voltage capacitors, the iGrill does not require any additional power supply, making it perfect for students or office cooking for lunch.

Available now for $99.99 from ThinkGeek.com
