Go easy with your Wiimote or you could break your TV

During a couch sitting game of Wii Sports: Bowling a user posted to a forum how he let go of the controller and the Wiimote wrist strap snapped causing his remote to cause a nice big crack in a 60″ TV.

Lots of Digg users are calling BS but IGN’s strap broke on Wii boxing so maybe it’s not that hard after all?

So for all you new Wii owners out there, remember to go easy when whacking those imaginary tennis balls and make sure if you have a sweat problem (like those who discolour macbooks certainly consider giving yourself frequent wipedowns during mammoth gaming sessions!
