Channel 4 on demand goes live

4odChannel 4’s new video on demand service 4oD went live today. It allows you to catch-up on your favourite shows up to 28 days after transmission either via a PC and broadband or with an ntl or Telewest digital subscribtion.

Free shows will be available weekly with the normal costs being normal shows for 99p and films for £1.99.

  • Re-discover thought-provoking documentaries, award-winning dramas and great comedy from the past two decades
  • Pre-book shows up to two weeks in advance
  • Rent shows for multiple viewings over a 48 hour period
  • Buy selected programmes to own
  • New programmes are available everyday. Some programmes are free and others are available to rent or own.

Requirements
4oD is only available to UK and Republic of Ireland residents, and those with a Windows XP PC with IE 5.5 or over, Windows Media Player 10 or over and a broadband connection. Mac, Linux and non-XP users will currently not be able to use this service.
