HTC Mobile Office Solutions

Published by Gonzo Pete March 6th, 2007 in Gadgets, Bluetooth, Computing, Wireless, Wi-Fi, Communication, Mobile Phones, Visual, Cameras, PDA, GPS, Tablet PC, Internet.

x7500

HTC’s new range of mobile office solutions will have you drooling from behind your aging XDA Exec. The X7500 for example packs in so many features it might just relegate your laptop and mobile phone to second place.

Powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 5 you have the all the office tools you need while on the move. Attach the QWERTY keyboard for easily typing up documents, e-mails, and messages. The 5-inch VGA display provides enough room for surfing the Web and viewing documents. With its 3G, Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 2.0 capabilities, you’ll be connected to whatever, wherever.

You’ve got an 8GB hard drive which is further expandable by miniSD card slot. The TV out connection is a nice feature and will enable all you business types to quickly hook up to a projector or TV for displaying presentations or just viewing documents etc.
Intel provide the processing power with 624MHz and an ATI graphic chip. It has 128MB of SDRAM and 256MB of ROM.

Other features worth mentioning are the built in GPS and two camera’s. One is 3MP with flash, the other VGA CMOS imaging sensor.
With 300 hours stated stand-by time the X7500 should see you through the longest journey.

Next up the (rumoured) forthcoming HTC P6500 Sirius. This device will (according to early sources) boost quad band WIFI and EDGE. It has a 3.5″ 65K TFT display with QVGA resolution. Powered by the Windows Mobile 6 professional Operating system it will include a 400MHz Samsung processor. Also a 2MP camera and if some sources are to be believed a biometric fingerprint reader.
Finalised spec’s are not available though Slashphone has some info HERE.
