Playstation 3 Compatibility List

Sony have done the honourable thing and released a backward compatibility list for the PS3.

It lists the PS1 & PS2 games that will work, or work to some degree on your shiny new PS3.
Over 2,800 combined PS2 and PS1 games are listed as working on the PAL PS3 but this represents a mere 56 percent of the roughly 5,000 titles available.
You can expect PS3 firmware download updates to slowly push the percentages up after time.

Joystiq also has a re-written more user friendly list if you find navigating the Sony one to much hassle.
