Skype Turns Polygraph
Published by Gonzo Pete March 29th, 2007 in Gadgets, Communication, Mobile Phones, VOIP, Internet.KishKish Lie Detector is a Skype-certified plug-in for the VoIP software. It monitors callers stress levels as they speak, giving you a measure of their trustworthiness in real time.
The first 10 seconds of the call are used to calibrate the system to the general stress level of the speaker. Afterwards, you will see 4 indicators about the stress level of the speaker. The most prominent one is a needle that moves up and down and registers the stress level of the speaker. The second is a meter which measures the stress level from 0 to 100. There is also a green light that changes to red when stress levels are above normal and finally, on top of the display there is a message which indicates the stress level of the speaker (”high”, “normal”).
Depending on how effective KishKish is this could be quite a handy little plug in.
