Wireless USB Hub

Published by Gonzo Pete April 2nd, 2007 in Gadgets, Laptops, Bluetooth, Computing, Desktop PC, Wireless, Wi-Fi, Apple Mac.

Several months after being announced, Y-E Data’s YD-300 WUSB hub is finally on sale in Japan — for ¥39,800 (£170)

The four port hub promises wireless USB transfers between anything connected to the hub and a dongle that plugs into a PC, up to 10m. Speeds are similar to those from regular, wired USB 2.0 connections (480Mbps).

A must if your trying to tidy some cable clutter or would rather host your various USB devices away from you computer.

This is staggeringly similar to my own, earlier write-up. And here’s me thinking there were plenty of words to go round in the English language:

    Shame on you guys.

Apologies JML. I had meant to put a link to the original story (now added), via your website.
