XBOX 360 Gets Messenging (Its About Time)

The upcoming firmware update for the XBOX 360 on May 7th will contain, among other things, support for MSN Messenger.

Users will have the ability to chat with up to six friends at the same time as playing music or watching movies. Also as part of the MSN network you will be able to communicate with friends and family that use a PC to access the network.
You will be able to input messages using a virtual on-screen keyboard, USB keyboard or the soon to be released controller attachment (which may or may not look like the one pictured)
