Now available from Sling Media and 3 is the Slingplayer mobile

SlingPlayer Mobile turns your compatible mobile phone into your personal television, letting you watch and control your own TV from anywhere.
The Slingbox and SlingPlayer Mobile redirect, or ‘placeshift’, a TV stream from the Freeview, satellite, or cable box at home to your phone wherever you are. You can now channel surf live TV (all your channels!) or even watch programmes recorded on a digital video recorder (DVR), all on your mobile. With a compatible 3G Internet-connected phone.

Customised for Symbian OS 9.1, SlingPlayer Mobile will first arrive on Nokia N73, Additional compatible handsets will be supported over the coming months.
SlingPlayer Mobile will be available to 3’s X Series customers, who will also have a chance to take advantage of a special offer on Slingbox purchase.
