iPhone Developement Tougher Than Expected?

Not so surprising I admit but a recent Apple statement hints at the reason behind the delay.
It confirms that Apple has redeployed Software Development and Quality Assurance personnel from the Leopard project to work on the iPhone, due for release sometime in June.
Could this indicate problems in the phones development or possibly Beta trial glitches.
Either way various iPhone suppliers have been told that the iPhone may not be available until the end of June.
According to Jagdish Rebello, an analyst with iSuppli, a market intelligence firm in Silicon Valley. Apple had never specified when in June the device would ship, but its wireless partner, AT&T (T), had been cited in published reports naming a June 11 target date, the same day of an Apple software developers conference.
“We’re hearing it’s mostly an issue with the complexity of the device, and that all the component suppliers are making their deliveries on time,” Rebello says.
Apple has hinted at the difficulties in developing the iPhone.
The cell phone “contains the most sophisticated software ever shipped on a mobile device,”

This is ok. I think iPhone is one of the biggest products releases in the world. Leopard is a small part from apple… If Apple canĀ“t send the iphone on June - it will be a very big problem for apple… and at stock exchange…
Do somebody knows, if european people also can order iphone in usa by AT&T. Or is the iphone Version “1.0″ only for amerikanish people? Can i use the iPhone in europe also? bye
