You may have heard of Expert Verdict, you may not have, but they describe their catalogue as “A World Of Innovation”

I received my catalogue from them today and was quite impressed with the array of different products and gadgets made to make life easier. So impressed in fact that I have cherry picked the best and most innovative items that I know you will want.

—————————————————————————————————————
seriliser

Ultraviolet light sanitises, sterilises and disinfects. It has long been used in hospitals and clinics and now you can utilise the benefits of UV-C light in your home. By waving it over surfaces you can eliminate dust mites from your mattress, bedding, carpets and sofa’s. Which will be great new for allergy sufferers.
Also use it on kitchen work tops/surfaces or in the bathroom and around the toilet to kill germs, bacteria and odours.
Costs £59.95

sunrise

The LED sunrise clock is two products in one. Firstly it is an alarm clock that wakes you by simulating the rising sun. Fifteen minutes before your chosen alarm time, the bottom row of LED’s switch on, the rest of the LED’s follow gradually row by row to imitate a natural sunrise. But don’t worry it has a audible snooze alarm as a fail safe back-up.
Secondly it is a light-therapy pad for sufferers of S.A.D.. The LED’s can all be switched on to produce 5,000 lux of light that simulates natural daylight (a standard lightbulb produces 500 lux). So this means sufferers of S.A.D. or jet lag can benefit from light therapy wherever they are.
Finished in brushed stainless steel.
Costs £59.95

callbox

If you’re already saving money by using Skype, this great new device will save you even more.
It enables you to make and receive both Skype and landline calls from any phone, whether a landline phone or mobile. So you can use your usual landline handset for both types of calls, or dial in and connect through your Skype account from any phone in the world.
It has built-in voicemail for recording incoming calls and customising your outgoing message, and also features selective call forwarding, so you can route and direct specific calls exactly where you want.
Other features include call conferencing with up to 5 callers, speed dialling and multiple call alerts.
Costs £39.95

powermonkey

The PowerMonkey picks up so many emergency chargers leave off. Except this portable charger packs massive amounts of power into a universally applicable device.
Fully-charged it can store enough energy to give you up to 96 hours mobile phone standy-by, 40 hours playback for your ipod, 6 hours on your Sony PSP, 1600 images on your digital camera or two full PDA chrages.
The 110/240V mains charger works in 150 countries.
Other features.
*Connectors for Nokia, Motorola V66, Samsung A288, Siemens C25, and Sony Ericsson wide connection.
*Mini USB for Motorola RazeV Series, Blackberry and Bluetooth headsets.
*USB for ipod, smart phones PDA etc.
*Connector for Sony PSP and most digital cameras.
*Travel Pouch
Costs £34.95
—————————————————————————————————————
keysafe

If you ever leave your keys under a doormat or plant pot then you should be aware that is the first place a thief will look. Even those fake stash rocks no longer fool the career criminal.
The key safe padlock offers the perfect secure location for leaving keys and other small items.
As well as being used as a standard padlock it can also hold several keys up to 7cm long. Seperate combinations operate the shackle and key compartment and both can be changed to your own choice of 10,000 combinations.
Comprises a hardened steel shackle, chrome dials, zinc cast body and dust proof rubber cover.
Costs £29.95
—————————————————————————————————————
ballfinder

Lose fewer balls, speed up the pace of play, spend less on replacement balls and even add other golfers’ lost balls to your collection. Developed by scientists in America, the Ballfinder uses a proprietary digital imaging technology to locate the white surface of a golf ball in any natural setting.
Its 3.2 megapixal imager scans pixel by pixel in nanoseconds, almost instantly locating golf balls at a range of up to 35′ when only as few as 3 dimples of the ball are visible to the naked eye - that’s just 1% of its surface! A vibro-buzz then confirms it has found a ball and a line of LED lights on the LCD screen indicate the direction.
Backed by Nick Faldo and other golf professionals. Comes with instructional DVD featuring useful hints and tips from Nick Faldo, batteries and a carry clip for attaching to golf bag or belt.
I’m sure there are other uses for this device, besides finding golf balls, although I’m not sure what.
Costs £149.95

beer

Finally something for the guys. The beer machine is your own self contained mirco brewery for brewing 100% natural and chemical-free beer at home.
This modern brewing unit is a far cry from the bell jar and tube affairs that you may remember from yesteryear. It boosts a fast brew time of between seven and ten days. It comes complete with everything you need to make your first home brew.
Simply pour the powder mix into the cask, add water and the supplied yeast, the seal and put in a warm place and refrigerate after five days. The beer machine will brew, ferment and carbonate for you.
Serve directly from the fridge with the supplied pub style tap.
A great little invention as the cost of pub drinking increases and our traditional liberties are banned (you know what I mean).
Costs £99.95

So there you have it. Seven great little labour saving and innovative products from Expert Verdict.
