The Oregon Time Sphere is certainly sleek and packed with handy features.

Oregon Scientific have teamed up with Stefano Giovannoni, a highly acclaimed award-winning Italian designer to bring us this marvel of style and functionality.

So as well as being an extremely attractive modern clock and alarm it also features what is described as the first wireless clock projector module.
The death star like sphere can be lifted from the base and used to project the time anywhere else in the house. The unit utilises radio waves to transmit the time from the base station.
The sphere recharges itselfs when it is placed in its holder and a full charge of 8 hours will give it 12 hours of projection time.

Also on permanent display is the date and indoor temperature.
The unit uses touch screen technology to adjust its settings and has a clever built-in sensor to dim or brighten the LED backlight to suit the surroundings.

Features:

* World’s first wireless projection clock
* State of the art induction charging for the wireless orb
* Self-setting atomic clock in 12/24 hour format with time zone offset feature
* Displays the time, day, month and indoor temperature
* Touch screen technology to adjust time, temperature and alarm settings
* 2 daily alarms and snooze function
* Supports five languages: English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian
* Base unit operated by AC adaptor
* LED backlight with built-in sensor to dim or brighten to suit the surroundings
* Full charge of 8 hours provides 12 hours of mobile projection time

This better be shock resistant, because it’s just asking to be thrown when the alarm goes off in the morning!
