Hands-free Keyboard Released in Japan

The computer keyboard is synonymous with manual labor, as we all know. However, there is hope yet for those who can’t use their hands anymore. Actbrise, a Japanese company, has released a hands-free keyboard meant for the disabled.
The Actbrise hands-free keyboard is designed to detect head movements in order to operate. Every tilt of the head and every pause in movement are translated into computer language. You can shift between the two modes — keyboard and mouse — depending on what you need, using head movements too.
This makes it perfect for those whose upper bodies are immobile and are also affected with certain speech defects. This hands-free keyboard is available for retail at around €1,830. Price is steep, but I guess for those who really need it, it’s worth every cent.
