Garmin Edge 305 – GPS with special feature

With the high number of GPS systems available on the market, the most influent companies need to include special features, to make their products special as well.

In this case, Garmin went with a Heart Rate Monitor on the latest Edge 305.

Besides the heart related feature, the device is also able to measure, and record other types of data, such as speed, distance, calories burned, and time. In case you are wondering, the Garmin Edge 305 is suppose to be used on a bike.

One interesting detail that I consider very unusual, is the virtual partner, which lets you create some kind of competition, so you really have try hard to beat the distance, and speeds, of the non-existent fellow.
