Starry Night Sleep Technology Bed

It’s not only cars getting pimped nowadays, even beds are. If you think a bed’s just a bed, the Starry Night Sleep Technology Bed will make you think otherwise. No, really. Don’t believe me? Read on.

Leggett & Platt Inc. has presented the Starry Night Sleep Technology Bed in this year’s International CES. And no, the bed’s not out of place in a gadget convention, not when it’s capable of being loaded with gadgets. For starters, the bed has vibration-detecting technology which would adjust the angle of the bed by 7 degrees until you stop snoring. Not only that, you also get temperature control with the bed capable of heating up until 117 degrees Celsius and cooling down until 68 degrees.

It ain’t over yet, of course. There’s also a 2,500 watt surround sound system, an iPod dock, DVR capability and LCD projector. Impressed enough? Armed to the teeth, this stunner costs USD$50,000. Tone it down a bit and it could cost as “little” as USD$20K. If there’s anyone here with that much cash to buy one, tell us how it goes when you go to sleep. That is, if you can sleep after spending that much on a bed.
