ReliefBand: Making Sure You Don't Need a Barf Bag

ReliefBandIf you think motion sickness is the worst thing in the world, try being pregnant, or perhaps go through chemotherapy.

The nauseating feeling one gets during pregnancy or after chemotherapy could be so severe that nothing can compare to it. One way to try and curb this sickness is through the use of ReliefBand. According to the company which manufactures ReliefBand, nausea comes from the nerves in your wrist. By dabbing a bit of conductivity gel on your wrist and putting this wristwatch-like device on, your nausea will be cured within minutes. The science behind that is that the device releases electrical impulses which curbs the symptoms of nausea.

You can buy one for around £65 here.

This could be a very interesting item... even for motion sickness, why not (well, except for the price). It would be cool if someone who actually tried it reported if it works or not. I'm a little unconvinced.

Use one of these on my sailboat in the Pacific Ocean. Works very well about three-quarters of the time. The rest of the time it's just a quick trip to the rail and all is well.

@Jason> That's great. Thanks for the info! Glad to hear this thing actually works. I'm motion sickness prone myself.

I love this product and would recommend to everyone, regardless of the price ...The companie that makes the Reliefband Medical Device is NeuroWave Medical, The releifband is the only electrical medical device approved by the FDA to treat nausea and vomting. My wife was given one by her doctor for morning sickness....it saved her ( and my life!!). I kept it afterwards and my guest use it when i am out sailing..it has worked everytime!
