Getac PS533E: Not a normal GPS System

Published by Tiago March 19th, 2008 in Gadgets, Computing, Wi-Fi, GPS.

Getac PS535E Rugged GPS PDAGetac is a company dedicated to create rugged computing solutions, and one of them is the PDA + GPS system codenamed PS533E.

Sporting a Samsung processor running at 400MHz and Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 as the operative system, this Getac device is resistant to drops and shocks. Another feature on the “rugged” department is the support of very high and low temperatures: -20C to +70C.

The screen size is 3.5-inches, and the category is a “transflective” LCD touchscreen that has protection against the sunlight. Other goodies include 2GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi, a USB port, and being compatible with SD memory cards.
