Mario Kart for Nintendo Wii

Published by Tiago April 2nd, 2008 in Gadgets, Consoles & Video Gaming.

Mario Kart Wii with Wii WheelThe Super Mario brothers got together for the upcoming Mario Kart game made for Nintendo Wii, but will it be better than the previous versions for different gaming consoles? Of course!

The new kart game comes with the Wii Wheel, in which you place the Wii Remote and use it as a steering wheel. Besides the fresh (and old) tracks, there are also new motorbikes to perform special tricks and develop new techniques.

Since most people enjoy the Multi-player mode, it can be done online with 11 players, or “locally” with 4 players.

All tracks are available via Nintendo WFC, and you can visit the Mario Kart Channel to check rankings.

The Mario Kart Wii will be released later this month (April, 27) but it is already available for pre-order at Amazon for £25.

Ummm…. no it’s not. It’s out in this market on April 11 and is available for pre-order for £32.99 from Amazon (£29.99 from play.com)

You can’t just assume that the US release info is the same as that of the UK but in dollars. Sheesh. Do your research properly next time.
