I've seen a lot of solar chargers in my life, but really, what I truly want to try is harnessing energy through wind power. Take for example, the HY Mini Wind Turbine.

Judging just on its looks, I wouldn't have guessed that this almost-kidney-shaped-like device could be used to charge gadgets. Expose it to twenty minutes of 19mph wind speeds and you're well on your way to take twenty pictures on your digital camera, play 30 minutes of music on your iPod or 40 minutes on your MP3 player, talk for four minutes on your mobile phone, and use your PDA for 40 minutes. One advised way to harness wind energy is to strap the HY Mini Wind Turbine on the handlebars of a bike. Of course, if you're being lazy and don't want to go biking, you can just charge it by plugging it on an outlet, which defeats the purpose, but hey, we're just human after all.
