Pentax Optio W60 - Waterproof Digital Camera

W60 is the codename of the new digital camera made by Pentax. It goes straight into the Optio series, which are the “waterproof” digicams that everyone wants.

Available in 2 months from now - July - it will cost close to £165 and there are two color options: blue and silver. Besides the waterproof protection that lets you shoot photos 13 feet underwater, the camera is also dust & sand proof, and can be protected against the heat.

As for the specifications, the Pentax Optio W60 has a 10-megapixel sensor, along with a 5x optical zoom, and a 2.5-inch LCD screen.

720p movie mode, ISO 6400 sensitivity and face, smile, and blink detection.
