Hopper Bots for Future Espionage?

Grasshopper robotOver at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne in Switzerland, a small android hippity-hops around, jumping until it hits the ceiling...

The small bot is modeled off of the humble grasshopper, an insect which you surely have encountered before. It measures a mere 2 inches in length and tips the scale at 7 measly grams. But this little bugger packs a punch--it can jump a whopping 1.4 metres, 27 times its own length. This guy will leave other bots its size biting the dust too--it can jump 10 times higher than other similar robots. These tiny jumping bots might be equipped with solar panels in the future, so they could get to rest under the sun during the day to recharge and work at night. What work might they be doing, you ask? Let's just say, James Bond would definitely be using one if he's real.
