2-in-1 Computer Mouse and Gamepad

Published by Tiago June 5th, 2008 in Gadgets, Computing, Consoles & Video Gaming.

Genius Navigator 365 LaserI believe the vast majority of computer users only utilize the mouse for a single task, but that is when the Genius Navigator 365 Laser joins the party and offers an entertaining 2-in-1 product.

When closed, the 365 Lasers works as any other mouse, but when you open it there is a gamepad with 6 action buttons on one side, and another 8 directional buttons (8-way D-Pad) on the other. In other words, you can play simple games with this mouse. It features 1600dpi as the maximum resolution and 800dpi as the minimum, which works accordingly to the screen resolution you’re currently using.

Other specs include a laser sensor, USB interface, and a good price of £19.

Navigator 365 Laser is space saving in a mobile phone style and is the mouse not to miss if you want to play games during a business trip.

I like the idea - saving the number of accessories you need by being multifunctional (just like how phones, cameras & media players have converged). I can see people being tempted to stop work only to get one more game in though so it might not be very productive!
