If the device wasn't so mundane it'll be a turning point for Logitech. This gadget is allegedly the very first Logitech web cam for Mac operating systems.

Logitech's QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac is especially for Mac users who aren't too satisfied with their built-in Mac system web cams. Of course, since Mac systems often have web cams of their own, this baby risks limited audience. However, this offers a more advanced web came system for those who truly need one. QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac's camera is a 2.0-megapixel sensor with a Carl Zeiss lens. It could be used for both Skype and iChat, making it especially useful for people who regularly attend teleconferences. For something which records VGA-quality videos though, £69.99 is a bit steep; but since it's only the first Logitech webcam for Mac, lower-priced versions with better specs *might* be available in the future.
