New iPod Nano Mock-up Gives us a Glimpse of the Future
By Mariella on Wednesday, August 27th, 2008 comments
The next-generation iPod Nano is rumoured to be presented to the public on September 9. Since we're all excited about knowing how it'd look like and what changes would be implemented, we're also all inclined to lap up all alleged photos that come around, even if they're blurry and dark.
Instead of spy pics which tells us nothing and from which we could discern little anyways, why not just take a look at this picture? It's actually a mock-up of what the new generation of iPod Nano MIGHT look like as interpreted by Miguel Suarez. As you can see on the image, Mr. Suarez placed Touch-like control keys on the screen, making us hope, indeed, that the new iPod Nano has touch screen capability. BUT then, revising the new Nano to have touch screen would mean the click-wheel would be eliminated, and the resultant device would just another iPod Touch. Nevertheless, it's a nice mock-up and I hope the new Nano would impress us more.

How about an iPod touch....but half the size. That makes it a bigger screen than the current Nano but no Wifi, maybe no apps but larger memory than the current nano's. That would be interesting?
A small display for the Shuffle would be ideal. Even a single line or if reducing the nano's price dump the shuffle altogether.
oooh, this looks nice. I really hope they don't make it touch screen.
I have the original Nano and it is perfect - in size and function. the new models are too big (wide) and touch is terrible for us that jog.
