Archos 605 GPS System

Two months ago Archos upgraded their line of multimedia players by presenting the Archos 405, and they have made another update by adding a navigation system to the 605, which can now be considered a 2-in-1 gadget: media player + GPS system.

At the recent event - Mobile World Congress 2008 - that took place in Barcelona from 11 to 14 February, there were many new and cool products being presented, like the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1, or the Sony Ericsson W980, and also the NDrive G400, a.k.a. the GPS system for alcoholics.

Panasonic Strada Pocket GPS system

Panasonic has plans to release the CN-MP50D in Japan, which is basically a GPS navigation system of the Panasonic Strada Pocket series. Sadly, this is a Japanese release only, set for February 12.

NavNGo Limousine GPS System

At CES 2008 there were a lot of cool gadgets being introduced, and one of them is the NavNGO Limousine - an unusual, yet useful way to transform a simple display screen into a GPS navigation system.
The NavNGO Limousine model is made in Europe, Hungary to be more precise. Inside the package, there are all the components to create a real GPS system from a display. Besides the SiRFStar III receiver, you’ve got the navigation software and plenty of digital maps inside a 2GB SD memory card, plus a processor running at 300MHz, a remote control to make the usability even more easy, and a pair of speakers.
So far, there is no information about the price or release date.
