louis vuitton ipod trunk

French accessory designer Louis Vuitton created this decked-out iPod carrying case for German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. Now I know a lot of may have a large question mark over your heads. Like why is there over 20 iPods in the case and why is this so huge in all. We're all accustomed to just having one iPod to carry around. A leather Belkin case would be nice actually. But an iPod trunk (!) that's a little odd now isn't it?
The trunk is made of fine custom-made Taiga leather, has a drawer for 20 iPods, an area for JBL speakers and a matching subwoofer. Well, I think this is the ultimate "cult of Mac" I've seen by far. But then again, maybe there is someone out there who's in need to carry around 20 iPods. For whatever reason it may be, this designer trunk is for him. Price tag was reported to be about £10,000.
Oh and wait, just found out that this iPod trunk was custom made for fashion czar Karl Lagerfeld. The company has designed this for his unique needs which remains undisclosed to this date. But he has the cash, so he has the trunk presumably.

The only person that needs a trunk that carries 20 iPods is a man that has 100 of them in order to store his 100'000 disc CD/record collection. That would be Karl Lagerfeld :)
Well, I must be missing something. Why would you spend A LOT for a case for a player, that is not even good enough for it. :-)
